Our Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) is the Home Care Team serving West Michigan. We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team supporting patients across West Michigan and surrounding areas). This role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing clinicians to practice at the top of their license while delivering care in patients' homes. Home health occupational therapy provides a unique opportunity to help patients regain independence with daily activities and safely function in the environment where they live and thrive. Our therapists maintain manageable caseloads, typically seeing 5-7 patients per day, with thoughtfully designed geographic territories that minimize travel and support work-life balance. As part of Corewell Health West, our VNA team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across Ottawa County and surrounding communities. Scope of Work Under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides occupational therapy services to patients/clients to assist in improving basic motor functions, reasoning abilities, compensating for permanent loss of function by teaching patients/clients to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. May provide treatment to patients/clients with cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction and physical disability. Assists with patient/clients and caregiver education. Standard Qualifications Required Associate's Degree accredited therapy assistant program Therapy assistance experience Preferred Experience in neurological injury, TBI, and Spinal Cord injury (based on Spectrum Health entity) Preferred LIC-Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
