Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing occupational therapy support in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students, families, and a dedicated educational team to help children thrive and reach their goals. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will have the benefit of working under the supervision of an experienced part-time virtual Occupational Therapist. With a stable caseload of 32 students and a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, you'll be able to build strong relationships and track progress throughout the academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure and certification as a COTA Previous experience supporting students in a school setting is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Comfortable receiving supervision from a virtual Occupational Therapist Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a school environmentKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as directed by the supervising OT Implement individualized intervention plans and document student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development and participation Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed This position combines the rewards of working with a supportive staff and making a direct difference in student lives.
