Job Summary:
We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services to our patients. In this role, you will work closely with our occupational therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient recovery and independence. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that is dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients in a Long-Term Care/Sub-Acute setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence Utilize the electronic medical record system, Net Health and PCC, to document patient progress and billing information Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Provide patient education and training to promote independence and safety
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Michigan Previous experience working in a Long-Term Care/ Sub-Acute setting is preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team
