Position:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-time and/or
PRN Primary Job Responsibilities:
Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Qualifications Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing. A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program. Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills. Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred. #
