What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy treatments in patient homes under the direction of an OTR/L Carry out individualized treatment plans and interventions Help patients improve ADLs and functional independence Address strength, coordination, mobility, and functional skills Reinforce adaptive techniques and compensatory strategies Provide adaptive equipment and home-safety education Educate patients, families, and caregivers Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team You Already Have Skills That Can Translate You don't need years of home health experience to consider making the move.
