Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. In this role, you will work alongside the Occupational Therapist and Rehab Director to provide high-quality therapy services in skilled nursing and assisted living settings. Responsibilities & Duties Assist the Occupational Therapists with individualized treatment plans Provide hands-on therapy focused on strength, ROM, mobility, functional mobility and ADLs Work with geriatric, neurological, and orthopedic patients Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist and/or support staff Educate patients and families on therapy activities, exercises and care plans Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications Current COTA licensure Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, inpatient or home health preferred Experience working with geriatric populations strongly preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes Why Join Our Team Supportive and collaborative rehab therapy environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact Competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
