Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Soliant is partnering with a supportive school district near West Point, Mississippi to hire a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Whether you're an experienced school-based COTA or looking to expand your pediatric experience, this is an excellent opportunity to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom while working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.   • Full-time, contract position
  • 30-35 hours per week, 4 days per week
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • July 27, 2026 - May 26, 2027
  • Caseload is around 41 students, ages 3-18 What You'll Do
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
  • Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and school participation skills
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate student progress with the supervising OT Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Mississippi COTA license
  • National certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
