Therapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC/Rock Hill SC! In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, compassionate occupational therapy services every day.Responsibilities:
Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed OT Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and developmental skills Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and goals accordingly Collaborate with occupational therapists, families, caregivers, and school personnel to support each child's development Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional developmentRequirements:
Active COTA licensure in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina NBCOT certification (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) required Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical, school, or outpatient setting preferred Knowledge of sensory integration, NDT, or other pediatric therapy frameworks is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity standardsAbout Us:
