As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments. ## Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy programs for patients
- Work with patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities ## Skills
- Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge
- Experience in inpatient and clinic settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work in acute care environments
- Understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
