As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments. ## Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy programs for patients
  • Work with patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities ## Skills
  • Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge
  • Experience in inpatient and clinic settings
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to work in acute care environments
  • Understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
