Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling career supporting middle school students through occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a genuine difference, working closely with students, educators, and allied professionals in a dynamic academic environment. Scheduled from ASAP through June 2027, youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours per week. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), your expertise will ensure students have the support they need to thrive in a middle school setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience working in school settings, especially with middle school-aged children, is highly desirable Proficiency in assisting with IEP goal implementation, documentation, and collaboration with supervising Occupational Therapists Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive partnerships with students, teachers, and families Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by an Occupational Therapist, focusing on the unique needs of a middle school caseload Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and strategies for classroom participation Assist in evaluating student progress, maintaining clear documentation, and updating relevant records as required Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement effective interventions in daily classroom routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team goals This contract assignment provides rewarding experience and the chance to grow professionally in an educational environment.
