Job Description
Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA/L Pediatric Therapy of South Jersey is growing, and we are excited to welcome a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to our outpatient pediatric team in Galloway, New Jersey . This is a part-time and we have a full time position available with a developing caseload , making it a great opportunity for a therapist who wants to grow alongside an expanding practice. We are looking for someone who is dependable, energetic, collaborative, and passionate about helping children build the skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and in their community. Responsibilities Provide individualized occupational therapy services to pediatric clients Support children with autism, sensory-processing needs, developmental delays, fine-motor challenges, self-care difficulties, and other functional concerns Develop and carry out meaningful treatment activities based on each child's goals Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, therapists, and other members of the child's care team Complete accurate and timely documentation Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive treatment environment Participate in team communication, training, and ongoing professional development Qualifications Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist or COTA/L license Previous experience working with children with autism is required Pediatric outpatient experience is strongly preferred Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to build positive relationships with children and their families Dependable, compassionate, and willing to grow with a developing caseload About Pediatric Therapy of South Jersey At Pediatric Therapy of South Jersey, we pride ourselves on providing family-centered, compassionate, and individualized care .
