Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - LTCA, travel assignment in Gallup, New Mexico.
Start date:
10/26/2026 for 13 weeks.
Weekly pay:
$1,725-$1,818 per week.
Guaranteed hours:
35 hours per week.
Shift:
5x8 days, 08:00-16:30.

Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment in Gallup, NM Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy services for residents under the supervision of an OT, implementing and adapting treatment plans. Conduct therapeutic activities and rehabilitative interventions to improve self-care, mobility, and functional independence. Assess progress, document findings, and communicate updates to the supervising OT and care team. Facilitate activities of daily living training, sensorimotor skills, and safety strategies within the SNF setting. Maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment safety; ensure accurate charting and compliance with privacy standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on discharge planning, progression goals, and the patient's transition needs. Requirements Active New Mexico license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (or eligible for licensure in NM). LTCA specialty certification or eligibility within the COTA scope. Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program. Experience or exposure to skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred. Ability to work the stated shift and meet the demands of a travel assignment in a SNF environment.
