Job Description

Bring your pediatric expertise to a role that truly makes a difference—join us as an Outpatient Pediatric Physician (MD/DO) at Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in Gallup, New Mexico. In this position, you'll provide high-quality care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting, all while enjoying a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and management of acute and chronic conditions Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care Educate patients and families on preventative health, nutrition, and child development Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and community health efforts

Required Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in outpatient pediatric settings Current certifications: BLS and PALS (ACLS and NRP preferred) U.S. citizenship and current residence in the continental United States Certification of education (copy of diploma or transcripts required) Current DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medications Strong pediatric diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (RPMS preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Willingness to comply with all federal and state medical practice regulations Adaptability to a flexible and dynamic work environment Valid driver's license may be required Ready to Make a Difference?
