Job Description

This full-time opportunity welcomes both licensed Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults. With multiple caseloads available, youll have the chance to apply your expertise and collaborate with educators and families to foster growth and independence among students of varying abilities.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license, valid in New Mexico Prior experience within a school environment is preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and goal setting in educational settings Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with teachers, therapists, and families Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to diverse caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students per their individual plans Conduct assessments, develop and implement intervention goals, and monitor progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students functional independence and participation in school activities Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support Adapt service delivery based on changing student needs and caseloads If youre ready to take on a rewarding role in a supportive school community, your dedication and skills will have a lasting impact on students academic and personal growth.
