Key responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, utilizing therapy software, and ensuring patient safety and rights. The role involves collaborating with patients, families, and support teams to meet patient needs, demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies. Qualifications required are NBCOT certification (renewal optional), graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program, and current licensure in the applicable state. CPR certification is necessary. Experience is preferred but not mandatory, welcoming new graduates. Skills and competencies include proficiency in Microsoft Office, good communication, decision-making abilities, knowledge of laws and procedures, and physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving patients. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and maintaining professional integrity.
