Whether you're looking to add one case to your schedule, build a part-time caseload, or create a fuller schedule, our team will work with you to identify placements based on your location, availability, experience, and preferred caseload. Blue Sea partners with 85+ school districts across Long Island , providing supplemental and support services to students in grades K-12 during the school day, after school, and in their homes. We can work with you to build a larger caseload using other available cases in your preferred area. What You'll Do Provide individualized occupational therapy services based on each student's IEP and identified needs Implement therapeutic interventions that support functional, academic, sensory, fine-motor, and developmental goals Support students in developing independence, participation, and daily living skills Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate Establish measurable short- and long-term goals in collaboration with the student's educational team Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other related service providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with New York State and applicable district requirements Participate in evaluations and treatment planning as required by the assigned case Manage and maintain an active caseload Requirements Active New York State Occupational Therapist license and registration (OTR/L) or New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license and registration OTR/L candidates must hold a master's degree in Occupational Therapy Pediatric, school-based, or home-based experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive clinical team Reliable transportation to assigned locations Must reside in Nassau County, Suffolk County, or Eastern Queens Because our opportunities are located exclusively on Long Island, candidates residing in Brooklyn, the Bronx, or other areas outside Long Island cannot be considered at this time.
