Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to improve independence and quality of life. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' physical and mental well-being. Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members. Collaborate with patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans. Stay updated on best practices and new techniques in occupational therapy to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Ohio OTA licensure Minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferred Home Health experience a plus Current CPR certification Good organizational and communication skills A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required Familiarity with home health and acute care settings Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility environments Excellent patient care skills Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
