Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students across a diverse educational landscape! We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support during a maternity leave coverage, spanning from ASAP through December. This contract role offers the unique chance to engage with learners at five vibrant school sites, including two elementary schools, one middle school, and two high schools. As an integral part of a collaborative therapy team, you'll play a key role in helping students maximize their independence and participation in the classroom. The caseload consists of around 75 students, with a significant portion at the secondary level who are seen monthly or on a consultative basis, allowing you to make a broad impact while maintaining meaningful connections.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid COTA licensure in Oklahoma Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Familiarity with supporting students with a wide spectrum of needs Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and fellow therapists Ability to efficiently manage a multi-site caseload and organize documentation
Key Responsibilities:
