In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. We have a great team in place with a fun team atmosphere and good logevity within the team. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide direct patient care to individuals across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Support patients in developing skills for daily living and working through therapeutic exercises and activities. Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising therapist. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology related to occupational therapy practices. Knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care. Experience in acute care and inpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Ability to work effectively in skilled nursing facilities or clinics. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
