Full Job Description Overview :
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist to patients in various healthcare settings.
Duties :
Implementing treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist Assisting patients with therapeutic activities and exercises Monitoring and recording patient progress Educating patients and their families on treatment plans Collaborating with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
Requirements :
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) State licensure or eligibility for state licensure Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Experience in acute care, outpatient, geriatrics, pediatrics, and occupational health settings is preferred Familiarity with medical imaging and patient care practices
