paid holidays 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement Opportunities to develop specialized pediatric skills Opportunities for clinical and leadership growth What You'll Do As a COTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help infants and toddlers develop the skills they need to participate in everyday life.

Your work may include:

Providing occupational therapy interventions based on the child's established plan of care Supporting fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, regulation, play, feeding, self-care, and developmental skills Helping children participate more successfully in everyday routines Using play and meaningful activities to make therapy engaging and developmentally appropriate Coaching caregivers on strategies they can use between therapy visits Collaborating with supervising OTs and other members of the child's Early Intervention team Completing timely clinical documentation Participating in supervision, team meetings, training, and professional development You Won't Be Doing This Alone Early Intervention requires independence, but it shouldn't mean practicing without support. You'll have access to supervising OTs and an interdisciplinary team of pediatric OTs, SLPs, PTs, and child development specialists. We want you to have people you can turn to when a child isn't progressing as expected, you're learning a new intervention, or you simply want another clinical perspective. You'll also have opportunities for continuing education and professional development to strengthen your skills and continue growing as a pediatric therapy professional. What We're Looking For Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Interest in working with infants, toddlers, and families Dependable and comfortable working independently in the community Strong communication and relationship-building skills Willingness to learn and receive clinical feedback Pediatric or Early Intervention experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Build a Pediatric Career Without the Income Guesswork Pediatric therapy can be incredibly rewarding.
