Job Description

PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Conroe, Texas. Provide therapy services under licensed supervision while collaborating with occupational therapists to develop individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a rehabilitation setting under licensed supervision. Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document patient progress and functional outcomes accurately in EMR systems. Assist patients with therapeutic activities to enhance mobility, strength, and daily living skills. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program recognized by AOTA. Valid Texas COTA License. BLS certification. License renewal as required by state regulations. Minimum 1 year of LTC experience. Familiarity with EMR systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work 1-3 days per week with no guaranteed hours. Comfortable commuting 45 minutes to 1 hour, housing not provided.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience working in rehabilitation settings.
