About PlayLab:

PlayLab Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric PT, OT, and speech therapy clinic located in McKinney, TX. Our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where children can build skills and confidence through play. Our clinic features a sensory gym and provides opportunities for collaboration across PT, OT, and speech therapy.

Position:

We are currently seeking an OT or COTA who is available during our high-demand after-school hours, primarily Monday through Thursday. The position can begin part-time with a flexible caseload and has the opportunity to grow into full-time employment based on therapist availability and caseload growth.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized, play-based occupational therapy services to pediatric patients Treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, fine motor, self-care, coordination, and functional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals within the OT scope of practice Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding progress, home recommendations, and treatment goals Collaborate with PT, speech therapy, and other members of the child's care team Help create a positive, engaging, and encouraging therapy experience for children and their families

Qualifications:

Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Creative and enthusiastic about incorporating play into therapy Availability during after-school hours
