Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PRN Princeton Medical Lodge - 3.0 Princeton, TX Job Details PRN From $36 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Occupational Therapy Assistant License BLS Certification COTA Post-acute care experience Full Job Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants at Princeton Medical Lodge guide short-term rehabilitation patients and long-term care residents through therapeutic interventions. Daily floor responsibilities center on carrying out treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist to rebuild strength and physical function. You will record resident progress in electronic charting systems and coordinate directly with nursing staff during daily routines. Responsibilities Implement individual occupational therapy plans established by the Supervising Occupational Therapist. Assist residents with adaptive equipment usage and daily living retraining. Document resident treatment progress and measurements in the electronic medical record system. Communicate care updates directly to nursing staff and rehab team members. Maintain clean therapy areas and sanitize equipment after resident sessions.
Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:
Starting at $36/hr, scaling upward with experience

Therapy staff work alongside floor nurses to ensure treatment goals carry over into daily resident routines. Department leadership remains accessible on the floor to assist with scheduling and treatment room support. Qualifications & Requirements Active State of Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must pass a standard criminal background check Must pass a drug screening Reliable transportation for consistent attendance Ready to Join Our Team?
