Occupational Therapy Assistant Aliana Pediatric Therapy Richmond, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Contract $35 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Continuing education credits License reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Skilled nursing facility experience Outpatient experience COTA Patient interaction Hospital experience Full Job Description We are looking for a motivated and caring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to become part of our team for outpatient and home based settings Key Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Deliver direct patient services including therapeutic exercises, functional skill training, and mobility support. Track patient progress and promptly share updates with the Occupational Therapist. Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy programs and at-home activities. Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements. Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Engage in professional development opportunities to strengthen occupational therapy skills. Qualifications Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program. Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapy practice. Prior experience in home health, skilled nursing, outpatient, or hospital-based care is preferred. Skilled in adapting care plans to meet each patient's individual needs. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with patients, families, and staff. Able to function independently while contributing as part of a team. Background or interest in pediatrics or occupational health is desirable.
