Job Description

Company Vision Speech & OT Specialists aspires to become the 1st choice of patients, families, and the medical community for: Feeding and Swallowing Reading and Literacy Autism Company Values Honesty Helpfulness Timeliness Organized Work Habits Enthusiasm Loyalty to our patients, our team, and our company Specific Duties Provide Occupational Therapy services in the home, clinic, and/or school settings. Complete required clinical documentation as required by third party payors and by Speech & OT Specialists. Follow clinical directives of the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient care and documentation. Participate in meetings with schools and/or contract agencies as needed. Assist in marketing efforts for Occupational Therapy services as requested by Speech & OT Specialists administration. Required Education, Competencies, and Experience Meet and maintain licensing and educational criteria as set forth by Virginia law. Comply with legal and ethical standards of care in provision of services and documentation in accordance with Virginia law and in accordance with other regulating, licensing and certifying agencies. Comply with Speech & OT Specialists' standards of operation, code of conduct, policies and procedures as set forth in the Company Manual, Employee Handbook and by direction from the Clinical Director, Office Manager and Clinical Supervisor. Comply with policies and procedures as set forth by organizations to which Speech & OT Specialists is contracted to provide services. Maintain the priority of patient care as most important. Reporting Relationship The Occupational Therapy Assistant reports directly to the Clinical Director then Office Manager for employment related matters and Supervisor for all clinical questions and directions.
