Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• PRN to join our dynamic healthcare team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. Your expertise will help enhance the independence and well-being of our diverse client population, including seniors, children with developmental delays, and individuals with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence. Implement treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists, ensuring personalized care tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, therapists, and caregivers—to optimize patient outcomes. Document care activities accurately in care records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Contribute to care plan adjustments based on ongoing assessments and client progress. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Prior experience working in long term care settings, acute care, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement treatment plans effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging relevant to occupational therapy practices. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, disabilities, and geriatrics. Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and caregivers compassionately and clearly. Ability to perform manual handling safely during patient transfers and mobility assistance. Familiarity with care documentation standards and healthcare regulations.
