Start Date:
08/24/2026 We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician for a busy outpatient ophthalmology practice in Beverly Hills, CA 90211 . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent ophthalmology experience , proficiency with Epic , and hands-on experience with Optos and ophthalmic diagnostic testing . Responsibilities Prepare exam rooms and patients for ophthalmology examinations and procedures. Obtain and document patient medical history, medications, and allergies. Perform visual acuity testing, color vision testing, and refraction. Conduct diagnostic testing including visual fields, keratometry, corneal topography, OCT, fundus photography, and intraocular pressure measurements. Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures. Administer dilating drops as ordered. Maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment. Educate patients regarding ocular medications and post-procedure care. Document findings accurately in Epic. Requirements Minimum 2 years of ophthalmic technician experience . BLS certification (AHA or ARC). Ophthalmic Technician diploma from an accredited program (required) . Experience with Epic electronic medical records. Experience with Optos imaging equipment . Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic testing and eye examination procedures. Preferred qualifications Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT). Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, multi-provider ophthalmology practice . Experience assisting with ophthalmic procedures and injections. Schedule details Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM . Rotating 1-2 Saturday shifts per month (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) . No call required. No floating required. BI02
Pay:
