A Thin Film Coating Company providing thin film coating solutions to a wide variety of customers in many different industries. We are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our production team as an Entry-Level Optical Coating Technician . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn a specialized technical skill and build a long-term career in optical manufacturing. No previous optical coating experience is required — we will train you. Job Responsibilities As an Optical Coating Technician, you will: Operate thin-film optical coating and deposition equipment. Prepare and handle optical components for coating. Monitor coating processes and equipment during production. Perform cleaning, inspection, and other production-related tasks. Follow established procedures and safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Learn additional equipment, processes, and responsibilities as you gain experience. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: A high school graduate or equivalent. Able to read, write, and communicate in English. Comfortable with basic math. Self-motivated and willing to learn. Dependable, responsible, and punctual. Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. A quick learner with a positive attitude. Previous experience in optics, thin-film coating, vacuum equipment, manufacturing, or production is a plus, but not required.
