8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Flexible) We are seeking a detail-oriented Optical Assembly Technician to join a growing high-tech manufacturing company in Santa Clarita, CA. This position will be responsible for assisting with the alignment, assembly, and calibration of precision optical systems using specialized processes and equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience assembling mechanical or electrical components in a technical or industrial environment and is comfortable performing detailed, precision work. Much of the assembly work will take place in a cleanroom environment . Responsibilities Assemble, align, and assist with calibration of precision optical systems Perform detailed mechanical and/or electrical assembly Follow assembly travelers, procedures, and work instructions Handle precision components carefully and accurately Read and follow part and assembly drawings as required Maintain high standards for quality and attention to detail Perform work in a cleanroom environment Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and production team members Qualifications Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience in a technical, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred Experience following assembly travelers or detailed work instructions preferred Ability to read part and assembly blueprint drawings is a plus Previous experience handling optics is highly desirable but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise assembly work Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
