Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Eyewear Expertise:

Assist patients in selecting stylish, functional eyewear that meets their prescription needs. Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses. Adjust and repair eyewear as needed, ensuring comfort and quality. Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage.

Technical Skills & Record Management:

Perform basic eye tests like visual acuity measurements. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with insurance billing and coding. Work in the optical lab to fabricate lenses and manage inventory.

Administrative Support:

Greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle payments. Verify insurance coverage, answer phone calls, and coordinate shipments.

Customer Engagement & Growth:

Provide excellent customer service to patients of all ages. Support practice promotion through social media and patient education. Assist in managing inventory and driving sales of glasses and contact lenses.

Desired Qualifications:

Passion for eye care and a dedication to improving lives. Experience with social media promotion and AI integration in healthcare is a huge plus. Familiarity with optical equipment, EHR systems, and basic retail skills. Sales and customer service experience, with a drive to help patients find the best solutions.
