High-Tech Care We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-centric team member to serve as a key engine of our practice. Experienced techs are highly valued and strongly encouraged to apply! If you bring prior optometry or ophthalmology experience, you will thrive in our high-tech, efficient clinical flow. However, if you have a strong background in general medical or patient care, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to learning, we are fully prepared to train the right candidate. To ensure you can stay focused on clinical care and patient experience, we utilize a dedicated team of Health Care Virtual Assistants (HVAs) who handle phone lines, patient scheduling, benefits verification, referral coordination, prior authorizations, and chart preparation. When not actively working with patients in clinic pre-testing, our tech team steps up to manage front desk flow—greeting patients, handling check-ins and check-outs, and keeping the daily schedule running seamlessly.What You'll Do:
Clinical Pre-Testing & Diagnostics:
Efficiently guide patients through pre-testing and diagnostic imaging—including visual acuities, Autorefraction, Medmont Topography, iCare Tonometry, Firefly Meibography, Eidon imaging, Zeiss Cirrus OCT, and Olleyes VisuALL Visual Fields.Front Desk & Patient Experience:
When not in patient care, actively support clinic operations by warmly welcoming patients, managing check-ins and check-outs, collecting copays, and keeping front desk momentum going.Seamless Clinical Flow:
Review and verify patient medical history, medications, and chief complaints (pre-synced via our digital intake system) to ensure our doctors have a complete, precise chart ready for exam time.Contact Lens Care:
Guide patients through contact lens insertion and removal (I&R) training, and assist with fit and vision assessments.Brand Ambassador:
Engage patients in meaningful, authentic conversations about our wellness and aesthetic offerings (IPL, RF, EMFace, EXOMind), introducing them to treatments that can elevate their care.Why You'll Love Working Here:

Experience Level:
1+ years of experience in an optometry, ophthalmology, or medical practice is highly valued and preferred —though we are open to training an exceptional, quick-learning candidate with a great work ethic.Personality & Precision:
High attention to detail, strong communication skills, reliability, and an eagerness to deliver top-tier patient care.Versatility:
Comfort transitioning smoothly between clinical pre-testing and front desk patient check-in/out.Certifications:
COA, CPO, CPOT, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.Bilingual Skills:
Spanish fluency is a plus!Job Types:
