About Us Eye Consultants of Delaware is a well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice serving the Wilmington community. Our current team includes a glaucoma specialist, a general ophthalmologist, and an optometrist specializing in contact lenses and dry eye care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, modern clinical environment. We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated, and patient-focused Ophthalmology Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do On clinic days: Perform comprehensive patient workups, including history-taking and chief complaint documentation Conduct refractions Perform visual field testing (Humphrey) Run ophthalmic diagnostic testing (OCT, fundus photography, Optomap, topography, etc.) Assist physicians with in-office procedures as needed Document accurately in ModMed EMA On non-clinic days: Answer patient calls and handle schedulingManage appointment rescheduling and patient callbacksProcess prescription refill requestsAssist with inventory management and supply orderingSupport the front and back office as the day requires Perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing, including: Visual field testing OCT imaging Optical biometry Lensometry (automatic/manual) Keratometry Corneal topography OPTOS imaging Assist physicians with in-office procedures Perform contact lens insertion and removal training Maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume clinic Maintain inventory and clinical supplies Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and all state/national guidelines Accurately document patient information using
