Job Description
The Optometric Technician cooperates in the process of patient care by providing direct support to the Optometrist and by completing ophthalmic/optometric procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Optometric Technician shall:- Be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Write clearly and legibly
- Spell and abbreviate accurately using medical ophthalmic and/or optometric terminology.
- Have prior experience working for an ophthalmologist, optometrist or in an ophthalmology or optometry related area.
