The position would be part time and may have a fluctuating schedule as the practice grows. Prior experience is appreciated, but not necessary if you are willing to learn on the job. Responsibilities Intake of medical history Maintaining HIPAA compliance. Measure vision, pressure, and help set up for retina focused procedures. Operate ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment like tonometry, optical coherence tomography, and optos retinal scans to gather accurate ocular information for the physician. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient data accurately and securely Provide direct patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients during their visits Requirements Prior medical office experience with a focus on ophthalmology or optometry preferred Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately during direct patient care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Ability to perform vital assessment, optical measurements, and assist with ophthalmic examinations effectively

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 12.0 per week
