Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented team member to join our growing optometry practice! This position is a hybrid role , assisting with both patient pretesting (technician duties) and front desk responsibilities . If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a positive healthcare team—this could be a great fit for you! Key Responsibilities Pretesting / Technician Duties Perform preliminary testing before the doctor exam: Visual acuity testing Auto-refraction Tonometry (eye pressure) OCT, Optomap, and visual field testing Motility and confrontational visual fields Accurately document patient history and medications Prepare patients for the doctor and assist as needed Front Desk Duties Greet and check in patients with a welcoming attitude Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify patient information and insurance Assist with check-out and general patient flow What We're Looking For Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude and team player Previous medical or optometry experience is a plus (but not required—we will train!)
