We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional technician to join our team. This dynamic role will involve a variety of responsibilities to ensure our office runs smoothly and our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Check in patients and verify personal and insurance information Answer and direct phone calls in a friendly and efficient manner Conduct pre-tests for patients as needed Schedule appointments, manage voicemail, and prepare patient charts Handle insurance verifications and authorizations Schedule specialty referrals and coordinate appointments Greet and welcome patients upon arrival Send appointment reminders to patients Train for lab duties and assisting with eyewear sales as part of your professional growth. Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Optical experience is preferred Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Outgoing, flexible, and a team player with strong communication skills Proficient in computer use; experience with Compulink Software is a plus Excellent customer service skills are essential
