FULL TIME OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN WANTED

•Mission EyeCare is seeking a full-time Optometric Technician to assist our optometrists and busy optical boutique in our professional private practice.

JOB DUTIES

Greet and welcome incoming patients and take their medical histories, perform pretesting & special testing preliminary measurements on patients, train them how to use their contact lenses, dispense contact lenses, manage inventory, as well as front desk duties (such as answering phones, taking payments, scheduling appointments, filing insurance, etc). Also basic optical duties such as frame selection and dispensing glasses.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, friendly, bright, and detail-oriented, trustworthy and reliable with a strong technical ability. Medical assistance experience is preferred, but not required, Must be available to work all Thursdays as well as occasional Saturday mornings. Experience in optical is recommended but not required.
