About Us Retina Ophthalmology Practice is looking for a full-time/part-time Ophthalmic Technician. This is the perfect learning opportunity and environment for medical students or those seeking a career in the medical field. We also welcome people wanting to intern and get experience in the medical field as they explore their career paths. Experience is welcomed, however, we are willing to train only serious candidates . Technicians who excel have the benefit of paid board certified training programs and courses allowing you to increase your knowledge and earning potential in a specialty with a shortage of trained professionals. We look forward to meeting you and considering you for our Team. Employee will be responsible for assisting provider with patient care, testing, and data entry. Daily tasks include, but not limited to: initiating patient exams, measuring and recording visual stats, conducting diagnostic specialized testing, administrating dilating drops, performing intraocular pressure checks, and recording patient's health history.
Requirements:
reliable transportation high school diploma previous experience in a healthcare setting computer proficiency must be available between 6:40 am - 7:00 pm Prior experience with electronic health records is a plus but we are willing to train the right qualified candidate.
