Ophthalmic Technician

At Bagan Winkels Vision we use vast experience and expertise to provide high quality eye care and treat patients like family. Not only do we treat patients like family, but we also treat staff members with the same compassion. Our general ophthalmology practice is looking for a full-time ophthalmic technician to add to our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the ophthalmologist or optometrist by gathering patient histories, performing diagnostic and ancillary tests, checking visual acuity, pupil assessments, applanation tonometry, manual refractions, contact lens dispensing, scribing for the doctor, and assisting in minor procedures. Previous experience using electronic health records is a plus.
