• Help patients select frames, lenses, and lens treatments based on their prescription, lifestyle, and budget
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper eyewear fit
• Adjust and repair eyewear
• Educate patients about lens options, coatings, and eyewear care
• Verify insurance benefits and explain patient costs
• Process orders and communicate with optical laboratories
• Build lasting patient relationships through exceptional service Optometric Tech
• Perform pre-exam testing including OCT, Optomap, visual fields, tonometry, topography, and autorefraction
• Perform visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception testing
• Dilate patients as directed by the doctor
• Provide contact lens insertion/removal training
• Discuss contact lens pricing and insurance benefits
• Work closely with doctors and staff to provide an exceptional patient experience Additional Responsibilities
• Order contact lenses and maintain exam room supplies
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Check patients in and out and collect payments
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment What We're Looking For
• 1+ year of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician; experience in both is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A genuine commitment to exceptional patient care
• Customer-service driven

CPO/CPOA
