Join Our Team! Southern Dutchess Eyecare is Hiring Are you upbeat, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping people? Southern Dutchess Eyecare is looking for friendly, patient-oriented individuals to join our growing practice! We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming environment for our patients and a supportive, collaborative culture for our staff. We currently have openings for two positions. No prior experience is necessary—we are completely willing to train the right candidates! Our Open Positions 1. Optometric Technician In this hands-on clinical role, you will work directly with our patients to ensure they have a seamless and comfortable visit. We will train you on how to effectively "work up" patients, gather their medical histories, and perform preliminary testing to prepare them before they see the doctor. 2. Front Desk & Billing Coordinator You will be the welcoming face and voice of our practice! In this role, we will train you to: Warmly greet patients as they enter the office. Check patients out and collect copays at the end of their visits. Submit and review claims, and help rectify any billing issues returned from insurance companies.
