POSITION SUMMARY
: Full time permanent ophthalmic assistant Chinese speaking is a must . Ophthalmology Assistant Responsibilities & Duties Assist the ophthalmologist during eye examinations and procedures Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use Gather patient medical histories and record any relevant information Administer eye drops and other medications as directed by the ophthalmologist Instruct patients on the proper use and care of contact lenses and glasses Perform basic vision tests and measure eyeglass prescriptions Assist with minor surgical procedures and laser treatments under supervision Schedule appointments and maintain patient records Answer patient inquiries and provide education on eye health Maintain inventory of optical supplies and order new materials as needed Ophthalmology Assistant Qualifications & Skills Accountability

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience:
No prior experience necessary Computer Skills Good computer skills.
Able to navigate between screens:
able to accurately enter data. Able to type 30+ words per minute.
