We are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of personalized, boutique-style eye care across a full spectrum of services. We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is eager to grow, contribute, and thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Technician responsibilities:

• Perform patient workups, including medical history intake and chart completion.
• Perform and assist with diagnostic testing such as: IPL/RF, IOLmaster, OCT, AutoRx, Lensmaster, Topography, HVF, UBM, and others.
• Assist the ophthalmologist during in-office procedures and minor surgeries
• Educate patients about medications, treatments, and post-visit care
• Attend to patient medical inquiries via phone and email as needed, especially during off-site days.
• Records abnormalities in pupils/peripheral vision and/or extraocular muscle movement
• Administration of eyedrops, glaucoma testing, ophthalmic photography

Requirements:

• Medical experience
• Experience with any online practice management systems
• Nextech EHR Software, preferred.
• Excellent ophthalmic technician skills
• Interested in a growth-based position where they can get a bonus based on procedures

In-Office:

2-3 days of the week, depending on the need. Employee MUST be flexible for the in-person days.

Office Hours:

7:45AM to 5:00PM or until 6:30PM. Further responsibilities and details can be discussed during the interview.
