Role Overview:

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be an integral part of the medical team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing various pre-examination tests before the patient sees the doctor.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain comprehensive patient medical histories. Perform pre-testing procedures, including: Intraocular pressure measurements Vision assessments Neutralizing glasses Refractometry Topography Glare testing Enter test data and patient history into electronic medical records (EMR)

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of experience as an ophthalmic technician, optometric technician, medical scribe, or optician. Graduates of medical assisting or optician programs are desirable. Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a team environment. Ophthalmic Scribe (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Role Overview:

The Ophthalmic Scribe works alongside doctors, documenting findings in electronic medical records and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately document doctors' findings in EMR systems. Perform specialized medical coding and billing for exams and ophthalmic testing. Type consultation letters and manage patient correspondence. Escort patients to checkout or testing areas. Obtain signed consent forms from patients before medical procedures. Schedule patient recalls and future appointments.

Preferred Qualifications:
