This role is essential in providing an excellent patient experience while supporting both front desk operations and optical sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and is committed to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Duties:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Verify patient information, insurance, and collect payments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow
Optometric Technician Duties:
Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients Maintain accurate documentation in patient records Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.) Provide outstanding customer service and patient support Ensure compliance with office procedures and healthcare standards Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office or optical setting preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and familiarity with office systems Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Benefits 401(k) and company match Health, dental, and supplemental insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Holiday pay
