Job Description
Chicora Eye Care is looking for a dynamic individual to help fill our opening for an Ophthalmic technician. Optometric technician duties include but not limited to: pre and post testing of patients in preparation for the doctor's exam. Scanning documents and entering pertinent patient info into EHR, answering phone calls, triaging patients, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, among other duties. This position requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills a plus. Our priority is to provide outstanding, exceptional care to our patients, while maintaining a respectful work environment for staff to thrive in. Experience preferred in a front desk/reception setting. Insurance verification and patient facing knowledge a plus.
