RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Speech Therapist (SLP) , your primary responsibility is the improvement of resident functionality through therapy. Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient's function Administer speech therapy program utilization specialized therapeutic technique and / or equipment Recommend communication devices / aids as indicated Confer with referring physician and other organizational personnel to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care Prepare and submit notes per organization policy Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory
REQUIREMENTS
