Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Optometric Technician to join our team! We are a single-location family eye care practice with a full-service optical and 2 doctors seeing patients per day. Your responsibilities will include taking patient histories, pretesting patients, performing various diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also be responsible for helping manage our contact lens inventory and assisting patients with contact lens training. You may be asked to assist with reception and optical duties at times. We are looking for a full-time employee and are open Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. There are no evenings or weekends required and we are closed Fridays.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training as an Optometric Technician is a bonus
  • Previous experience working in an optometry or ophthalmology practice is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients We offer competitive compensation.
