Join our growing business and team. We are seeking a dependable and versatile Optometry Technician who enjoys variety in their day! This role will float between our Athens and Cleveland offices and assist in clinical care, front desk operations, and optical support. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys learning multiple aspects of patient care. Clinical Duties Perform preliminary testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, etc.) Document patient history and chief complaints accurately Prepare patients for exams and assist the doctor as needed Maintain exam rooms and equipment Front Desk Support Greet patients and assist check-in/check-out Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify insurance and collect copays Help maintain smooth patient flow Optical Support Assist patients with frame selection when needed Perform basic frame adjustments Support optical team during busy times Qualifications Optometry technician experience preferred, but not required Willingness to cross-train in multiple roles Strong organizational and multitasking skills Friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Reliable transportation to travel between offices Preferred Experience with EHR systems Prior front desk or customer service experience Basic optical knowledge
